Arrival: An airport pick-up service at a cost of US$ 18.- for the trip (up to 4 persons) is available. For larger parties add US$ 4.50 per each extra person. Together with your hotel booking please provide your airline, flight number and estimated time of arrival if you require this service.
Taxis are not advisable,
rates and routes being erratic and be advised of their almost aggressive
harassment after you clear customs. There is no airport authority
regulation for taxis, unfortunately.
Regulated services: Airport
shuttle vans are about US$ 5.- per person and an airport bus service
for US$ 1.50 will leave you at a central subway station, three
stations away from Santa Lucia station, on that same line Nº1,
which at three blocks is closest to our hotels.
On Business?: Exhibit, sales, conference rooms customized to your need are available. There is a telephone with fax and laptop hookup in your room and another wideband Internet connection in our business room. Safety deposit box in your room. Our restaurant will cater to all your requirements: coffee breaks, cocktails & snacks, full meals, etc. and we also have a private dinning room for up to 12 persons. Banks (till 2pm), corporations and professionals work from Monday to Friday. Shops are open on Saturdays as well and Malls and Supermarkets all week.
Extended Stay: Keep in mind our all suite Carlton House with low, low rates for weekly or longer sojourns: living-dinning room, separate bedroom with adjoined bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, 70 cable channels, in room safe box, direct dial phone, etc.
Food and Beverage: There are many fast and slow food restaurants, cafeterias, of all kinds (local, Italian, Chinese, etc.) that cater to all budgets, specially along our downtown promenades on one of which we are located. We as well have an on premises restaurant with standard good fare and fine local cuisine. Room service is likewise provided.
City tours, City walks, Day trips: All sightseeing can be arranged with our front desk staff as well as tours for the day, car rental, airline ticket confirmation, etc. They have experience and will be happy to be of service. In summer, day trips to the beaches and to the vineyards are highly recommended and in winter there are 3 great skiing grounds with 20 or more ski lifts at only an hours drive from our hotels. (El Colorado, La Parva, Valle Nevado)
